As of September 9th, 2022, these ratings were last updated prior to the launch of this blog. However, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to revisit these establishments and determine how our ratings stack up against their current offerings. In doing so, we aim to enrich our content with detailed descriptions of flavors and accompanying visuals. For the time being, this serves as our baseline and we remain committed to delivering the most up-to-date and comprehensive reviews possible.

How do we rate?
When it comes to rating the delectable cheesecakes that grace our palates, we take several factors into consideration.
- Taste – Naturally, the taste is the primary factor that influences our rating. However, we pay equal attention to two critical elements – the texture and flavor of the cheesecake itself, and the quality of the crust.
- Price – We understand that higher prices often lead to higher expectations. Hence, we take the price of each cheesecake into account while evaluating it.
- Plating – Though a minor aspect, the presentation of the cheesecake can undoubtedly impact its rating. A well-executed plating can often add to the appeal of the dish and contribute to a higher score.
Our rating system employs a 1-10 scale, with only whole numbers allowed. However, the plating can help round up the score, along with the pricing.
What do the ratings mean?
Our rating system can seem a bit perplexing at times, which is why we’ve taken the liberty of breaking it down to give you a better understanding of what each score entails.
- 1 – Steer clear of the cheesecake at all costs! Trust us, it’s not worth the risk.
- 2-3 – We strongly advise against ordering the cheesecake. Consider yourself warned.
- 4-5 – We won’t even bother mentioning the cheesecake. It’s simply not worth your time.
- 6-7 – If you’re in the mood for something sweet, the cheesecake might satisfy your craving.
- 8-9 – The cheesecake is a must-try when you visit. Don’t miss out!
- 10 – The cheesecake is absolutely phenomenal, so much so that we recommend making a special trip just to indulge in its heavenly goodness.
