FRATELLI’S ITALIAN & SEAFOOD

There are great cheesecakes, and then there are those rare few that completely redefine what we think a cheesecake can be. Fratelli’s Italian & Seafood Strawberry Cheesecake falls squarely into the latter category. Originally rated a 9/10, this dessert left such a lasting impression that I had to do something I’ve never done before—bump it up to a perfect 10/10.

The moment this slice was placed in front of me, it already had my attention. A vibrant strawberry topping gently cascaded over a thick, creamy filling, garnished with whole strawberries, dollops of whipped cream, powdered sugar, and a beautifully executed raspberry drizzle across the plate that showed real care for presentation.

As for the crust—it was soft yet consistent, a graham cracker base that held together wonderfully without falling apart or overpowering the filling. And that filling? Simply unforgettable. It struck the perfect balance between light and luscious. Unlike the heavier New York-style cheesecakes, this one delivered a silky, airy texture that practically dissolved with each bite, leaving behind nothing but satisfaction.

I had this while celebrating my aunt’s birthday, and the entire experience was exceptional. The staff at Fratelli’s Italian & Seafood were kind, attentive, and made the night feel special. Their entree portions are famously large, making dessert a challenge, but let me be clear: this cheesecake is worth the extra room. It doesn’t just wrap up your meal—it elevates it.

It’s rare that I find myself genuinely tempted to order a second slice, but this one made me pause. If you’re dining at Fratelli’s Italian & Seafood, do yourself a favor—save just a bit of room. This strawberry cheesecake doesn’t just meet expectations—it exceeds them. Welcome to the best of the best!

HOOTCH AND BANTER

Hootch and Banter’s raspberry cheesecake is hands down the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. The cheesecake had the perfect texture and the crust was excellent. The raspberry sauce on top, paired with chunks of raspberry and a dollop of whipped cream, made the plating as perfect as can be.

One fun fact: this particular flavor paired perfectly with the best mixed drink I’ve ever had in my life, the Johnny Merlot.

While Hootch and Banter rotates their flavors, I highly recommend trying the raspberry. It’s priced very reasonably at $10 and is worth every penny.

If you’re looking for a little slice of heaven, stop by Hootch and Banter for some raspberry cheesecake and a Johnny Merlot. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

I might be wrong on this one, but as far as I can remember, this cheesecake was an absolute delight. I won’t go into too many details as to why I can’t trust my rating that night, but let’s just say it was a wild bachelor party…

Although my memory of the taste is a bit hazy, I distinctly remember our entire table being blown away by this cheesecake. It received a perfect 10/10 rating and is currently reigning as one of our top picks until we can try it again and confirm its excellence.

I didn’t take a picture of the cheesecake that night, but the one shown here is from there. The plating seems to be okay, nothing over the top, but more than just the cheesecake itself.

Although the overall bill was quite expensive (over $700 with tip for three people!), I do recall that the cheesecake itself was reasonably priced at $14. Given the high quality and unanimous agreement at the table, it was definitely worth the cost.

Overall, I’m looking forward to rescoring this one with a clearer mind. Let’s see how it holds up!

I must admit, I am usually one to reserve my judgment until the very end. I have to spoil the surprise and let you know that every single food item I tried was nothing short of amazing. From the first bite to the last, my taste buds were tantalized, especially by the cheesecake.

At the mere sight of the cheesecake, my expectations soared. The presentation was impeccable, plated on a rounded square glass white dish with a dollop of whipped cream, a mint leaf, and a mix of sliced strawberries and blueberries arranged elegantly with a drizzle of strawberry sauce to finish it off.

With the first bite, my expectations were not only met, but exceeded. The cheesecake was incredibly thick, yet the filling was perfectly creamy and firm. Let’s not forget about the crust – it was everything you could ever want in a crust: perfectly textured, firm, and consistent with a spectacular flavor.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw that it was only $9.95 – the level of detail and love that went into the cheesecake was truly outstanding, and it’s hard to imagine that it’s not priced higher. This cheesecake is the epitome of a 10/10 – outstanding presentation, value for money, and exceptional taste from top to bottom. There’s no doubt that I’ll be returning to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill to sample their other delectable offerings and, of course, indulge in another slice of their heavenly cheesecake.
