As my weekend golf trip came to a close, I couldn’t resist stopping by Il Vesuvio Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria for some lunch and, of course, cheesecake. The restaurant had recently built a covered patio, which made for a lovely setting on this beautiful day.

The lunch menu offered a variety of delicious options, but the highlight was definitely the cheesecake. When I asked our waitress about it, she raved about how amazing it was. After taking my first bite, I knew she was right.

The flavor was perfect – not too sweet, not too rich – and the crust was a refreshing change from the usual dense and dry crusts that I’ve had in the past. It was just the right texture and sweetness to complement the creamy filling.

The cheesecake came plated on a small, plain white glass dish. It didn’t need any fancy garnishes or presentation – the taste spoke for itself.

At just $6.99, the price for this delightful treat was unbeatable.

Overall, I had an incredible experience at Il Vesuvio. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was simply delicious. I will definitely be back for more of their amazing cheesecake and Italian cuisine.
